AcupZ ("we", "our") is a local football and futsal tournament platform operated by
ACUPZ PTY LTD, a company registered in Australia. This policy explains
what data we collect, why, and your rights.
Data we collect
Account data: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), preferred language,
and — for Player/Coach accounts — phone number and date of birth.
Profile content: photos, team/club details, and sports statistics you or your organisers add.
Purchases: subscription status is processed by Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat.
We never see or store your payment card details.
Device data: a push-notification token (only if you allow notifications).
How we use it
To operate tournaments, matches, standings and profiles you take part in.
To send match and tournament notifications you opt into.
To verify accounts and keep the platform safe.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Sharing
Public sports information (display name, team, match statistics) is visible to other users as part
of the service. Service providers we rely on: Apple (payments), RevenueCat (subscription management),
email delivery for verification codes, and secure cloud storage for images.
Your privacy controls
Hide your date of birth, phone, or social links from your public profile (Profile → Privacy).
Delete your account and personal data at any time in-app: Settings → Security → Delete Account.
Data retention
Personal data is removed when you delete your account. Anonymised match records may be retained
for the integrity of tournament history.
